Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us.
We would rather hear about a problem and put it right than not hear about it at all.
How to raise a concern
Write to info@lawfiq.com with "Complaint" in the subject line, or post it to LawFiq, Conductor, 8 Westfield Avenue, London E20 1NW. Tell us what happened, when, who you dealt with, and what you would like us to do. If you would prefer to speak first, call 020 3930 1088.
What we do with it
Your complaint is read by LawFiq’s Principal, not by the person it concerns. We acknowledge it, look into it, and reply in writing with what we found and what we will do. If it takes longer than expected, we tell you why.
Regulated legal work
LawFiq is a UK advisory company. It is not a firm of solicitors and is not itself regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Where regulated legal services are required, these are provided by our partner SRA-regulated law firm. A complaint about work done by that firm follows the firm’s own complaints procedure, which it will give you, and may ultimately go to the Legal Ombudsman. We will help you direct it to the right place.
Mediation
A complaint about a mediation is handled in the same way, by writing to the address above. The mediator takes no part in reviewing a complaint about their own conduct.
