Our approach
Most advisers know one world. We work in both.
A scholar who does not know UK law cannot protect you under it. A lawyer who does not know your deen cannot honour it. LawFiq brings the two together, so your business, your family and your wealth are right in your religion and sound in the law, in one place.

Two systems, one life
Each decision answers to both.
What your religion asks
Islamic principles
The obligations of marriage and inheritance, the terms on which wealth may be shared, the duty to settle disputes honourably. These are precise, and they are not optional to the people who hold them.
What the law recognises
England and Wales
What counts as a marriage, who inherits without a will, what a partnership is when nothing is written, when an agreement binds. Equally precise, and indifferent to intentions it was never told about.
An adviser who knows one side well gives half an answer with full confidence. LawFiq was built so that both sides sit at the same table, and the advice reflects both.
Why it matters
The gap is quiet until it is not.
Families and businesses usually discover it only when something goes wrong: a death, a separation, a dispute between partners. LawFiq closes it earlier.
- A nikah does not make you married in UK law. Marriage & Nikah
- A will only follows Faraid if it is drafted to. Wills & Inheritance
- Silence is still an agreement. The law fills in what partners leave unsaid. Partnerships
How LawFiq works
A calm, four-step path.
-
Tell us what you need
Share your situation in confidence, in English, Arabic or Urdu.
-
Initial consultation
We listen properly and set out what can be done, without pressure.
-
Both perspectives, joined
Where you stand in your religion and in UK law, brought into one picture. Our scholars settle the Islamic position; our advisers map the legal one.
-
Clear next steps
Practical options and a defined route forward that you choose. Where regulated legal services are required, these are provided by our partner SRA-regulated law firm.
Not every tension can be resolved. Some outcomes the law permits, faith does not. Some obligations faith imposes, the law will not enforce. When that is so, we say it, and set out the choices it leaves you with. Every matter is different. We explain your options honestly; we do not promise a particular outcome.
