Most of what goes wrong for Muslim families and businesses in England goes wrong quietly. Two systems were running at once, and nobody explained how they fit. Insights is where LawFiq explains it: not a news feed, not a blog, but careful reading on the questions we are asked most, written by the people who answer them.
It opens with reading paths into the pages that already carry the substance. Longer pieces are added only when they have been written, reviewed and are worth your time.

How Insights is written
Pieces are published as they are written and reviewed. There is no schedule, and nothing is published to fill space.
- Who writes Real names, real expertise
Every piece carries the name of the member of LawFiq’s team who wrote it, or LawFiq’s own name for reference material the team has prepared together. There are no guest writers without a biography, and nothing is generated to order.
- Review Both sides checked
Points of Islamic principle are reviewed by LawFiq’s Islamic Board. Points of English law are checked against the law of England and Wales as it stands on the date of writing. Where the two produce different results, the piece says so.
- Dates Published, and last reviewed
Each piece shows when it was published and when it was last reviewed. Law changes; a piece that describes it is reviewed when it does, and a note explains what changed.
- Three kinds of piece And no others
Explainers, notes on a change in the law, and answers to questions we are often asked. No opinion columns, no news commentary, no lists written for search engines.
- What it is not General, not personal
Insights explains general principles. It is not advice on your situation, and reading it does not make you a client. Where regulated legal services are required, these are provided by our partner SRA-regulated law firm.
